It's a Wonderful Life (1946)

A Christmas classic, and I never miss it around the holidays. Everyone knows the story, James Stewart gets shit on his whole life, but then sees what difference his life has made. One of his best films, but watching Donna Reed's eyes glow whenever she's on the screen, Lionel Barrymore's performance as the craggly, Mr. Potter, Thomas Mitchell as the bumbling Uncle Billy, and of course Henry Travers as Clarence. And who can forget the miracle ending, which no matter how many times I watch it will always make me cry. :'-(
