Monkeybone (2001)
(PG-13) 92 mins

I have to admit, I have a soft spot for Brendan Fraser and Chris Kattan. Fraser is perfect to play ridiculous roles in mainstream media. I don't know how he does it, but he can take a weak script and make it entertaining. And Chris Kattan, well he's the man. That goes without saying, and he is downright hilarious when he appears at the end of 'Monkeybone.'

But that isn't to say I recommend the film. There are parts that are enjoyable, most notably when Kattan first appears, but the film as a whole doesn't exactly work. The whole intricate design of the dreamworld is sorta cool, but isn't really entertaining enough to sustain interest in the film. And neither is that annoying monkey.
